We've used a few strainers in our day. This is our all-around favorite. Fashioned from 100% 18/8 stainless steel, she'll last a lifetime. The strainer is machined to perfection with 0.3 mm perforations fit for small-leaf teas like Berry-Rooibos, or large-leaf teas like White-Cloud.

It also has an unbreakable, stainless steel lid with a beautiful silicone rim to protect counter-tops and glassware. 

Over time the Eighteen-Eight will develop a friendly patina of tea stains--if you're like us, you'll leave it be--but a bit of baking soda and some love will bring back that brand-new-strainer shine.

These drawstring bags are our preferred method for brewing loose tea when our adventures take us away from a good strainer. The drawstring cinches shut to keep your loose tea in the bag--not in the cup--while allowing plenty of space for the tea to fully extract. 

Unlike some DIY tea bags, these won't wick water out of your mug. 

Made of unbleached cellulose and cotton.
