Ingredients

- 5 grams of ZI RAN RED black tea
- 20 grams (.5oz) maple syrup
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1/2" sliver of fresh orange

1| Steep Tea

Dose 5 grams ZI RAN RED into a teapot. Pour 135 grams (4.5 oz) of 207ºF (97ºC) water over tea, and let steep for 2-3 minutes.

2| Decant into Mixing Glass

Do so.

3| Add Bitters, Syrup, and Ice

Add 20 grams (.5oz) maple syrup, 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters, and a couple handfuls of ice to tea.

4| Mix

Stir thoroughly until well chilled.

5| Pour

Pour into a 6 oz rocks glass or coupe glass.

6| Garnish

Peel a 1/2" sliver of fresh orange, taking care not to get any white pith. Squeeze in half over the drink to spritz oils, rim the glass with the peel, and drop in. Serve.
